- Go to Setup.
- Under Administer, click on Communication Templates | Classic Email Templates or Administer, click Communication Templates | Email Templates.
- Click on the name of the email template that you would like to attach a file to.
- Click the Attach File button.
- Complete the three steps and click the Done button.
- Go to any task or events records (either via home tab or via open activities/activity history related list of any record).
- Click Edit.
- Scroll down to Attachments related lists, then click Attach File.
