- Deactivate this Approval Process
- Use the "Clone" button (from the approval process detail page) to create a new similar inactive one.
- Then use the "Delete" link for Step 2 before activating that process.
- Once you are sure that the approval is completed activate it again.
How to delete a step from an active approval process?
You can't delete steps from an active approval process. The best you can do is to edit the step so that it always passes on to the next step, by setting the criteria appropriately. You're stuck modifying that one.
