Add Lightning Components as Custom Tabs in a Lightning App.

  • Create a custom tab for this component.
    • From Setup, enter Tabs in the Quick Find box, then select Tabs.
    • Click New in the Lightning Component Tabs related list.
    • Select the Lightning component that you want to make available to users.
    • Enter a label to display on the tab.
    • Select the tab style and click Next.
    • When prompted to add the tab to profiles, accept the default and click Save.

To add a tab, click Add Tab in the Tabs component properties. Customize a tab by clicking it in the properties pane. You can select a different standard label or click Custom and enter the tab name you want. Note Custom tab labels in the Tabs component—including those installed from packages—aren't translated.
