What is your experience at Lehigh University like?

As covid has gone away, my experience at Lehigh has gotten so much better. The professors are nice, educated, and want you to succeed. Great professors for the most part. As long as you want to learn, most professors will help you learn. The campus is nice, except for the stairs.

Is Lehigh University a good school?

Not good for people looking to have a long and happy life. If your goal is to not learn much, be unemployed coming out of school, and not make deep relationships, Lehigh is the place for you. With the pandemic most students have virtual classes, however al my classes are in person except for my Spanish course.

Why is Salesforce so expensive?

The problem with Salesforce’s pricing is a consequence of it being a massive product designed for large and growing companies with diverse needs. And that’s just Salesforce’s software pricing, without considering the optional add-ons, like Pardot and myTrailhead, all of which are paid for separately.

Like implementing a bucket brigade to save on fire hoses... Much too expensive. Either make it less costly up front, or make it easier to administrate. Top of the line products are supposed to be less expensive to operate...

Is CRM support inflexible?

For a CRM, not much is available as standard, it's very inflexible and major releases break anything you have added on. Support is AWFUL and then you pay for premium support (which is somehow worse) on a 1 month contract and they carry on billing you for it for another year, no matter how many times you ask them to stop.

Is Lehigh University walking only?

Lehigh hilly, mostly walking-only campus is simply beautiful: it is not only enjoyable, but also helps one stay in shape! (Yes, there are buses for those who are too lazy to walk around.) Back in the early 2000s, it had a bad rep for too many parties. Some of that was true, I must admit.

Is online learning difficult?

Online learning is very difficult for most people, including me. Lehigh has done a great job of allowing students to connect via zoom, as well as get a thorough education. Professors understand that online learning is hard so they are very accommodating to students' needs. Freshman.

Great opportunity, depending on what stage of life you are in

I work as a teaching assistant in the History Department. While taking classes, in conjunction with serving as a teaching assistant, I have definitely enjoyed my 2 years here earning my Master's. The faculty is supportive, and the professors that I have worked with have all been great mentors.

Engr 010 TA

Not bad job as a freshman, pay is low but great opportunity to become more involved in engineering as a younger student. Promotion potential available (Head TA) however due to course switching to python and Raspberry Pi the promotion I was given was retracted.

Used to be a good place to work

I have fifteen years working for Lehigh University. When I started everyone was treated like a family member. Now fast forward to today and Lehigh University is being run like a cold, uncaring corporation.

Good working environment

I love working at Lehigh. Very diverse and welcoming community. You get to work with some of the greatest minds in the world! Tuition reimbursements and other benefits make up for a decrease in pay.

Hostile Work Environment

I learned quickly in my tenure at Lehigh that it is a culture of don't ask, don't tell. I worked for a College where no one was kept in-check and I was verbally abused for months.

Learning lot more then expected, supportive professors and excellent course material

Lehigh Consulting's practicum is helping us to develop leadership, management, and collaborative teaming skills.
