I've been thinking of putting together a huge doc/repo on the financial advice/lessons I wish I knew before entering the tech industry. There is a lot of general information on financial advice, but very little tailored explicitly for tech employees.
Do you guys actually work 9-5 only? Or it gets extended generally everyday?
I am generally working 10-9 everyday. No complains about pay or workload but I was wondering if working past the office hours is norm in this industry.

I read a lot of posts of people working remotely saying they don't do much and play videogames or some people actually working 2 jobs at once. Is it so common? Or these people are so good at their job that it takes them very little time to complete each task?
Any Salesforce support war stories?
Mini-rant: Is it me, or does anyone else feel like Salesforce support has gone from okay to just horrible in the past few years? Case escalation doesn't matter unless you do it via your AE/CSM. Even then, the person assigned to your Case isn't helpful (even if you write EVERYTHING DOWN on the ticket).

Anybodys sandboxes running EXTREMELY slow?
I'm trying to build some simple objects and fields on a sandbox (happens to be on CS220 instance) and it's either extremely slow, like takes 5 minutes to go through the field creation screens, or it errors out saying something about the page didn't return any data.
