  • Login to your Salesforce account
  • Select "Setup" Watch Video Tutorial: Create A Custom Email Template in Salesforce
  • Select "Email" in Lightning or "Communication Templates" in Classic
  • Select "Classic Email Templates"
  • Select the button "New Template"
  • Select "Custom (without using Letterhead)"
  • Click "Next"
  • Select the desired Folder
  • Check "Available For Use"
  • Type in a Email Template Name (contacts will not see this name - internal only) (The remaining fields are optional)
  • Encoding: select Unicode UTF-8
  • Click on "Next"
  • Type in the email Subject (contacts will see this when they receive your email)
  • In the HTML Body field, paste in your copied html code
  • Click "Next"
  • Click the button "Copy text from HTML version"
  • Click the "Save" button to save the template. ** The template is now ready for testing
